Help for Haiti

(from Architecture for Humanity)

On Jan. 12th a powerful 7.0 quake hit the impoverished nation of Haiti. This was followed more than 30+ strong aftershocks. There has been widespread major damage and a loss of life estimated to be between 45,000 to 50,000 (source: Red Cross). There are projections of 2-3M without shelter, leaving record numbers homeless. Since then Architecture for Humanity has launched an appeal to focus on the long term reconstruction effort.

If you want to support much needed emergency relief, give to the Red Cross, Partners in Health or UNICEF. If you want to support transitional and the long term reconstruction of Haiti in a more sustainable way then donate to Architecture for Humanity.
